Birkbeck, University of London, has an exciting opportunity to join its student recruitment team. We’re looking for a talented and ambitious Schools & Colleges Liaison Marketing Administrator to join the team at this exciting time of growth to make an impact.

At the core of this role is supporting the development and implementation of a wide range of student recruitment and marketing activities targeting secondary schools, 6th forms and colleges across Greater London and the surrounding areas.

Your knowledge of the UCAS application cycle will support a wide range of events and activities across the recruitment cycle including on campus, in secondary schools, colleges and at exhibitions. This will include communicating with prospective students, teachers and academics as well as providing efficient admin support for the logistics of these events.

To succeed as Schools & Colleges Liaison Marketing Administrator, you will have a proven track record working in a customer facing role, with a strong preference for a Higher Education environment and with experience of working in the education sector to provide a high-quality service with excellent written and oral communication skills, with marketing experience.

You are an experienced multi-tasker, you will have strong organisation, planning and IT skills and the ability to define priorities for yourself to execute your tasks and support the wider team’s tasks. You will be expected to learn new software, information systems and online platforms to fullfill your role.

The ability to cultivate good relationships is also essential to your role. You will support the development of building networks – internally and externally – and understand the value of maintaining them.

This will be demonstrated through the impact of your work, and as you help to develop the profile of the expanding Schools & Colleges Liaison team at Birkbeck, and with our partners and other stakeholders across London, and beyond.

This opportunity would build on experience as: marketing executive, office administrator, data assistant, marketing assistant to name a few. 

Salary and benefits

£31,234 to £34,827 per year, Grade 4 on the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated London Weighting Allowance.

Contract
