We are looking for Birkbeck Students who are passionate about improving the academic experiences of Students’ at Birkbeck!
This is an internal opportunity for students who are currently studying at Birkbeck, University of London.
We have a fantastic opportunity for you to become more involved in your school, to help build a community at Birkbeck, and elevate the student voice - all while building your transferable skills and getting paid!
School Reps are an essential link between students, Birkbeck College and the Students’ Union, working together to make a positive impact on your studies. They represent students, helping to build a community within their school by putting on events, provide opportunities for networking and are a vital part of providing feedback to the College to improve the Academic experience here at Birkbeck. By becoming a Student rep, you will be involved in School committees and development, representing your peers in an official capacity and working collaboratively to push for the developments that students want. You will be invited to take part in exciting projects and get involved with Students’ Union activities, including creating Academic Societies to provide even more opportunities for students to get to know each other and enhance their experience.
If you’re an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about your studies, keen to develop skills and interested in making change - all while earning a wage - then this is the opportunity for you!
This is a part-time role to fit alongside your studies and a fantastic way to boost your CV.
In order to be successful in this role, we want you to:
- Be a current student at Birkbeck

- Be enthusiastic about building community at Birkbeck
Grade 3 of the College's London Pay Scale which is £22,435 rising to £25,741per annum (pro rata).
The salary quoted will be pro-rata for this part time post and is on the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance which applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area.
