Are you an experienced Executive Assistant looking for a role where you can support senior leaders and make a real impact? Birkbeck, University of London, is seeking a talented Executive Assistant and Philanthropy Co-ordinator to provide high-level support to our Development & Alumni leadership team.

In this role you will manage busy diaries, co-ordinate complex schedules and ensure the smooth running of the Development & Alumni office. You will be a key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders using your excellent communication skills to manage relationships and priorities the Director’s time effectively. Your ability to handle competing priorities with confidence and professionalism will be vital.

You will also support the Director of D&A and the Philanthropy team, helping cultivate relationships with Birkbeck’s major donors and prospects. This includes supporting the team in planning and delivering high-impact meetings, events and initiatives that increase the likelihood of future supports. You will use your organisation skill and smart thinking to ensure donor-funded projects are delivered successfully.

If you have proven experience providing executive support at a senior level, are confident managing complex stakeholder relationships and are excited about supporting an ambitious and dedicated development team, we would love to hear from you.

Contract:

Open-ended, permanent contract. This is a full-time role (35 hours a week), hybrid working with at least two days a week in the office. Closing date is 6 October 2024. Interviews will be held on 16 October 2024.

Salary and benefits:

£37,143 rising to £42,365 per annum, Grade 6 of the College's London Pay Scale.
