Are you a detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual looking to advance your career in financial accounting? We are seeking two enthusiastic Assistant Financial Accountants to join our Financial Accounts team. 

Working closely together, you will play an important role in supporting all aspects of the financial accounting function, including balance sheet reconciliations, treasury management, compliance, year-end processes and tax-related tasks.

As someone who thoroughly understands fundamental accounting principles, you will be involved in providing guidance and training on aspects of financial accounting to a variety of staff in faculties and service areas.

To be successful in this role you will have experience of working in a high-quality, pro-active and delivery focussed financial accounting team, and you will have experience of working flexibly and effectively. The role will also require you to communicate effectively with a wider range of internal and external stakeholders including academics, faculty administrative teams, banks and auditors so the ability to maintain relationships with stakeholders is essential.

This exciting role offers a variety of experience across the financial accounting function and also requires the post-holder to work closely with the Finance Business Partners.

It would be a good opportunity for AAT qualified or CCAB part-qualified accountant looking to build on their experience. The role is based in Bloomsbury, London, with the opportunity for hybrid working.

Remuneration

£42,365 rising to £48,424 per annum. The salary is on the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance which applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area.
