Birkbeck, University of London, is seeking to recruit a range of Lecturers to support its Business School next Academic year – starting in September 2026.

Birkbeck’s Business School seeks to recruit up to five Lecturers to support a range of management subjects (business, organisations, marketing, strategy) for short fixed-term contracts to teach at our new campus in Bengaluru, India.

Successful candidates will be expected to teach a range of first year undergraduate modules as well as postgraduate modules.

Contracts would typically last for four months and successful candidates will be working in India for the whole period.

The School offers an excellent teaching friendly environment in its state of the art Bengaluru campus and you will contribute to the effective delivery of our portfolio of programmes.

About You

You will be educated to PhD level or have significant teaching experience in areas contained within the wide field of business, management, marketing and strategy.

You will have experience of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

You will be willing to take a leading role in the delivery of modules in an overseas teaching context.

You will have the right to work in India for the duration of the contract.
